Xavier and Iowa are among the schools to have offered. Indiana did under Tom Crean, but new IU coach Archie Miller has yet to reach out.

"They're both really good programs - Xavier made it to the Elite Eight this year and was fun to watch. Iowa had four freshmen came in that did big stuff for them. So I just like the tradition for both of them and the great staffs they have," he said in April.

Fredrick led his team with 21 points in the championship game of the Indyball Shootout, winning the 17u title. He told TheHoosier.com his individual goals this season include creating more off the dribble, expanding his range and improving his strength.

He was averaging 21.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists through 14 games this season for Covington Catholic. He earned honorable mention All-State honors and led his squad to a 31-7 overall record.
