Michigan senior Mark Donnal was not going to be back at U-M for a fifth year, but he will pursue one somewhere else.
U-M head coach changed Donnal’s classification from redshirt sophomore junior a few years ago, and it has been known that he wouldn’t spend a fifth year at U-M. He made it official Monday that he’ll look for a new home for a season.
Donnal redshirted in 2013-14. He averaged 3.9 points and 2.0 rebounds this season, his best campaign coming last year when he averaged 7.8 points per game as a junior. Donnal made nine of 18 triples this year and shot a career-best 61.7 percent from the floor.
