Michigan has announced it has fired linebackers coach Chris Partridge.
While Michigan gave no reason in its statement, the implication is Partridge's dismissal is tied to the in-person scouting investigation centered around Connor Stalions.
Partridge was a part of Harbaugh's first staff at Michigan in 2015 as Director of Player Personnel. In 2016, he joined the coaching staff as special teams coordinator 2015-19, he coached safeties and linebackers. He left Michigan to serve as co-defensive coordinator at Ole Miss for three seasons before returning in 2023 to coach linebackers again in Ann Arbor.
