Former Michigan five-star pledge Aubrey Solomon of Leesburg, Ga. could also be a future Michigan five-star pledge. Solomon de-committed this fall but will officially visit U-M Nov. 5 weekend, his coach tweeted today.
“It was really just that I thought I should weigh my options more,” Solomon told Rivals.com in September of his de-commitment. “I felt like I rushed into it too early. That’s really the gist of it.”
Solomon, a dominant lineman, visited Georgia in September and hears plenty from the hometown school.
“I’d say Clemson, Michigan, the biggest of them all is Alabama like every day, Florida, Ohio State and USC,” Solomon said of who he hears from the most. “I feel like it’s going to go all the way to National Signing Day, or maybe even after that. That’s how I feel.”
Lee County head coach Dean Fabrizio believes his player is one of the most coveted prospects in the nation for a reason.
"The thing about Aubrey is that there just aren’t a lot of kids that are his size that have the natural flexibility and explosiveness like he’s got," Fabrizio said. "Those kids are at a premium because they don’t come around very often. He’s a big kid that really bends well and has such great strength through his hips. His first step is really explosive. He’s just a special player."
