Jim Harbaugh's new podcast, "Attack Each Day," recently debuted, and this week's version features his father, Jack, and his brother, John.

The segment is also co-hosted by J.T. Rogan, who played under Harbaugh at San Diego.

The hour-long podcast mainly features the three Harbaugh men telling stories and reminiscing of their younger days. Here are some of the highlights:

Jim Harbaugh

“When I was at Stanford, we were getting ready for the Orange Bowl in 2010. After that first practice, I went home and watched an HBO special on Vince Lombardi — I watched it 2.5 times that night and was just enamored with him.

"The next day at practice, I find myself being Vince Lombardi. ‘WHAT THE HELL’S GOING ON OUT HERE?! NOBODY’S HITTING ANYBODY! GET THE KNEES UP!' I’m doing the hand gestures just like him, and doing everything else I’d seen the night before.

"The players didn’t have TVs in their dorms, so I’m thinking there’s no way they would have seen it. Then Andrew Luck pulls me off to the side and says, ‘Coach, we all watched the special last night on Lombardi. We know you’re trying to be like him.’

"And I’m thinking how that could be possible, since they don’t have cable. And he says, 'Coach, we’re not in school right now — you put us in the hotels.’ And I just said, 'Thanks Andrew.' "

Jim Harbaugh, on what he wanted his team to be focused on heading into the Florida game

“The main things were to play as hard and as fast as they can, for as long as they can. Don’t worry, play your best — win for Michigan. All we ask is that you give it everything you have.”

Jack Harbaugh, on Michigan facing adversity during the Florida game

“When you get punched in your nose, and it’s bleeding and running down into your throat, how are you going to respond? With the situation they were in in the second quarter, this team responded very well.”

Jack Harbaugh

“When I was 10 or 11 years old, I was at Hamilton Park about a block away from our house, and I had an argument with somebody during a baseball game, regarding whether or not he was out or safe at second base. We went chest to chest — we were just a bunch of kids playing in the park with no umpires, so we had to settle it ourselves.

"We got nose to nose and looked at each other, and he laid a right cross to the tip of my nose and it just exploded. I look down and my white shirt is blood-filled. We forgot about ‘safe or out,’ and I popped him right on the nose. Then all of our buddies stepped in — we hugged it out, and there were no winners or losers.”

John Harbaugh

“None of us [Harbaughs] have ever been known to complain about officiating or anything — we’re all pretty calm on the sideline. We were at Ohio University one time playing a real tough game, and we were making a big comeback, but got hit with a holding call.

"So I said something and the ref looked at me, and then we get hit with another holding call after back-to-back completions. It kind of sealed the game, so I ripped my headphones off, spun around, and slung them as far as I could over our bench and over the cheerleaders and into the track around Ohio U., and they landed right in front of their student section.

"I turned around and my dad is three inches from my face and says real calmly, ‘go get them.’ And I say, 'go get what?' as if there might be some other ones I’m supposed to get."

Jim Harbaugh

"Mom’s spaghetti is ‘feel good’ food. I feel good after I have it. No matter how tough of a day it was, or if it’s raining outside, mom’s spaghetti makes me feel good.”

Jim Harbaugh

“Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote 'nothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm.' Jack Harbaugh said 'attack each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind!' Two of the world’s great philosophers agree enthusiasm is key.”
