Former Michigan defensive back Jourdan Lewis played very well for much of a 35-31 loss to Green Bay ... that and more in this U-M in the NFL update.

Lewis was picked on for the game-winning touchdown, but that was one of his few bad plays. It just happened to be a big one.

“Just got my head around late, and [Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers] threw it exactly where it had to be and [wide receiver Davante Adams] caught the ball so, great play,” Lewis said in the postgame locker room. “We’ve got to do our job. I don’t waver, no matter what. This is my job to go out there and try to stop them.

“They’ve got to make some plays, we’ve got to make some plays … just didn’t execute. [Rodgers] is a great quarterback. He has great weapons around him and we had to stop him, and I didn’t.”
