Michigan never offered Phoenix Pinnacle five-star dual-threat quarterback Spencer Rattler but now has a commitment from Rattler's backup, 2020 pro-style quarterback JD Johnson. Rattler is the No. 1 dual-threat QB in the country in the 2019 class, so he knows a thing or two about the position and has seen Johnson in action as much as anyone.
