It was announced Friday night that Indianapolis Lawrence Central four-star outside linebacker and Michigan signee Cameron McGrone had won the Glenn Davis Award during the awards ceremony for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The award is presented to players who exhibit prowess in the classroom and the field. The Doc Blanchard award is presented to the East's recipient while the Davis award is presented to the West’s honoree. Blanchard and Davis were Hall of Fame running backs for Army in the 1940s, each winning a Heisman Trophy.

It's worth noting that fellow Michigan signee Aidan Hutchinson was also up for the Glenn Davis award but came in behind McGrone.
