DeSoto (Texas) High three-star twins German and Gemon Green have announced via Twitter that they have committed to Michigan.
The Green twins were on campus Wednesday for the first time and saw everything they needed to see. Gemon, a 6-2, 173-pound cornerback, and German, a 6-2, 180-pound safety, both had many offers to consider but the Wolverines stood out over them all.
Gemon is the more coveted of the pair with upwards of 20 offers from schools like Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, TCU, Texas, Wisconsin and Baylor among many others. German, a slightly bulkier safety, holds offers from Colorado, Houston, Oklahoma State and a few others.
The U-M staff has now procured seven commitments in the 2018 class including three from the state of Georgia (Christian Turner, Myles Sims and Otis Reese) and now two from The Lone Star State. Michigan's haul now ranks No. 15 nationally.
