Here's a look back at some Michigan related recruiting nuggets from throughout the day.

Michigan Offers 2018 Cornerback Divaad Wilson

It appears that Michigan is still looking for another cornerback in the 2018 class as evidenced by an offer going out to Miami Northwestern four-star Divaad Wilson. The 6-0, 183-pounder tweeted out that U-M, along with Florida State, extended an offer yesterday afternoon.

Wilson was committed to Florida but decided to open things up amidst the coaching changes in Gainesville. The No. 24 cornerback in the country is seriously looking at Alabama, Georgia, Louisville, and South Carolina and has taken or will take official visits to all four schools. It'll be interesting to see if Michigan can sneak in and get that fifth official visit.

Things Heating Up Between Michigan And Ben VanSumeren

Michigan just offered Essexville (Mich.) Garber three-star athlete Ban VanSumeren yesterday and things have definitely progressed quickly with the 6-3, 232-pound Iowa commit.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, running backs coach Jay Harbaugh and defensive line coach Greg Mattison were all in Garber High School this morning.

Tonight, there's an even more interesting development between U-M and VanSumeren that we've been discussing on The Fort. Things are definitely trending in a positive direction for U-M after just getting involved yesterday.

Michigan Target De'Gabriel Floyd Decommits From USC

Santa Clarita (Calif.) Golden Valley four-star outside linebacker De'Gabriel Floyd announced via Twitter that he has decommitted from USC.

The 6-3, 218-pounder has been recruited by Michigan for a long time despite his commitment to the Trojans so now that he's back on the market expect the U-M to really keep an eye on the talented linebacker. Even when Floyd was committed to USC, he had great things to say about the Wolverines.

"I love Ann Arbor," Floyd said earlier this year. "I was up there before my freshman year during the spring and I really loved the area. When they offered me early they were one of my top schools when I had a short list just of the offers that I had. I was really liking Michigan a lot.

"If something did happen with USC, and I did open up my recruitment, Michigan would definitely be in my top five. I really liked the environment in Ann Arbor and it feels like a warm, welcoming situation if I were to end up there."

Well, something obviously happened with USC so look for Michigan to be a major player for his services. He's an ideal fit at the Viper position in Don Brown's system.
