Michigan redshirt junior quarterback Shane Morris is now officially a former Wolverine. Morris announced his departure via twitter.

The 6-3, 213-pounder was Michigan's third-string quarterback in 2016, behind starter Wilton Speight and John O'Korn.The former five-star finished 47 of 92 for 434 yards and five interception in his career.

Morris redshirted in 2015 before losing the quarterback battle to Speight in 2016. He even saw time at wide receiver this spring.
