Michigan Loses Commitment From Jeremiah Holloman

Until today, Michigan held commitments from a pair of prospects out of Covington (Ga.) Newton in the 2017 class. That number has dwindled to one following a the decommitment of wide receiver Jeremiah Holloman.

"Yes, I decommitted from Michigan," Holloman said. "I'm still considering them, but no longer committed."

The 6-3, 190-pounder picked the Maize and Blue Dec. 13 over offers from Indiana, Northwestern, and Vanderbilt, among others. The No. 75 junior in Georgia is a three-star with plenty of untapped potential that should see him move up the rankings in due time.

"Im just going to wait until Signing Day to announce a commitment," he said. "That's o I can enjoy the recruitment process."

Ole Miss, Virginia, and Nebraska are among the programs who have entered the mix for Holloman in recent days. His classmate, three-star running back Kurt Taylor, remains solidly committed to the Maize and Blue.
