Hoke, now Michigan's head coach, admits he hasn't thought much about that as he continues preparing his 20th-ranked team to face 17th-ranked Nebraska on Saturday at Michigan Stadium, but he does have an opinion on the shared national title.

Michigan went on a 14-2 run over nearly 9 minutes to gain command of the game midway through the first half, 19-10, then realized it wouldn't be that easy. Western Illinois started dropping threes, hitting 6-for-9 on the way to a 28-28 halftime tie. Michigan was able to gain a little cushion with a 7-0 run early in the second half, but spent the rest of the game hanging on.
