2016 Projection

Michigan returns Mackey Award favorite Jake Butt and four other tight ends who caught at least one pass last year (the only loss is A.J. Williams), so McKeon won't likely be called on as a freshman. However, he is already enrolled in Ann Arbor and going through offseason conditioning — and spring practice — should help him shape his body and mind for the upcoming season. Limited playing time is a possibility.

They Said It

Rivals.com Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Analyst Adam Friedman: "McKeon is a good natural athlete, but hasn't had a chance to show what he's capable of thanks to the scheme he plays in at his high school. He's a good blocker and has flashes of being able to get open downfield, but will need some time to adjust to a higher level of play.
