The Michigan Wolverines' basketball program announced the start times and TV networks for the 2019-20 campaign this afternoon.
Every contest will be carried in at least some capacity, with nine of them scheduled to air on Big Ten Network, eight on the ESPN affiliates, seven on Fox Sports 1, four on CBS, two on FOX and two on BTN+.
The Wolverines will tip things off with a lone exhibition contest against Saginaw Valley State on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7:00, a contest that will only be carried by BTN+.
The season-opener against Appalachian State on Tuesday, Nov. 5, however, will be aired on Big Ten Network.
The Maize and Blue will next host the Creighton Blue Jays (Fox Sports 1) on Tuesday, Nov. 12 for an early 6:30 tipoff, before squaring off with Elon just three days later at 7:00 PM on BTN.
Another Friday night home contest against Houston Baptist (BTN+) will precede Michigan's trip to the Bahamas for the annual Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, where the Wolverines will first duel with Iowa State at noon (ESPN) on the day before Thanksgiving.
A showdown with either Alabama or North Carolina will then take place at either 1:30 or 6:30 on Thanksgiving, before the final game of the event occurs on Friday, Nov. 29 (unknown opponent on ESPN or ESPN2).
The Tuesday, Dec. 3, trip to Louisville for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge has yet to announce a start time, though it will be carried by one of the ESPN networks.
Michigan's first Big Ten showdown will be at home against Iowa (Fox Sports 1) on Friday, Dec. 6, at 6:30, and will be followed by a trip to Illinois on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
U-M's first CBS game of the year will occur when it welcomes Oregon to Ann Arbor on Saturday, Dec. 14 at noon, before another noon showdown takes place the following Saturday against Presbyterian on Big Ten Network.
Non-conference play will be wrapped on Sunday, Dec. 29, when the Maize and Blue host UMass-Lowell at 2:00 on Fox Sports 1.
The Sunday, Jan. 5 trip to Michigan State will tip on CBS at either 1:30 or 4:30, and will be followed by a home visit from Purdue on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7:00 on Fox Sports 1.
Road trips to Minnesota and Iowa will ensue on Sunday, Jan. 12 and Friday, Jan. 17, respectively, before U-M hosts Penn State on Wednesday, Jan. 22 (7:00 on BTN) and Illinois on Saturday, Jan. 25 (noon on Fox Sports 1).
A trip to Nebraska on Tuesday, Jan. 28, will be broadcasted on one of the ESPN affiliates, while the Madison Square Garden showdown against Rutgers on Saturday, Feb. 1 will take place at 4:30 on BTN.
Consecutive rivalry tilts will follow on Tuesday, Feb. 4, and Saturday, Feb. 8, against Ohio State (7:00 on ESPN or ESPN2) and Michigan State (noon on Fox).
U-M will host Indiana on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1:00 on CBS, before making consecutive road trips to Rutgers (Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7:00 on BTN) and Purdue (Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2:00 on ESPN or ESPN2).
The Wolverines will then face a daunting stretch to close out the regular-season, with home visits from Wisconsin (Thursday, Feb. 27) and Nebraska (Thursday, March 5), and road trips to Ohio State (Sunday, March 1) and Maryland (Sunday, March 8) to close things out.
The school also announced that over 11,000 season tickets have been sold, which are the most since the 2000-01 season when Brian Ellerbe was at the helm.
