Michigan class of 2019 signee Cole Bajema needed a big summer to earn his U-M offer.
He’s proving he deserved it.
After bursting on to the scene by dominating elite competition at the AAU level, Bajema has led his Lynden (Wash.) Christian team to a 21-0 record, including a huge win over rival and top-ranked Lynden in late January.
“The thing we love about Cole is that he’s just such a team player,” Lynden Christian head coach Roger DeBoer said. “In games where maybe his production doesn't need to be at a high level, he’s so good about including his teammates and distributing the ball. And on nights like that night when we play arguably the best team in all of Washington, he understands he probably needs to take over a little bit more come crunch time in the fourth quarter."
