In the latest Associated Press poll released Monday, Michigan moved up one spot to No. 6 after defeating Rutgers and Wisconsin this past week.
The five teams ahead of the Wolverines are Tennessee, Duke, Gonzaga, Virginia and Kentucky. Kentucky received 77 more votes than Michigan this week.
The other Big Ten teams in the rankings are Michigan State at No. 11, Purdue at No. 12, Wisconsin at No. 20, Iowa at No. 21 and Maryland at No. 24.
Michigan's nonconference opponents in the rankings are UNC at No. 8 and Villanova at No. 13.
