3. Michigan’s mistakes. Yes, they’re easily correctable — dropped passes, a dropped punt by the backup return man, several fumbles by the quarterback — and yes, senior signal caller Shea Patterson was banged up on the first play and nursing some sore ribs. But as head coach Jim Harbaugh said, those are the things this team can’t do against the better teams on the schedule and expect to win.
