Miles Boykin sets announcement date

New Lenox, Ill., Providence Catholic wide receiver Miles Boykin will announce his college decision Wednesday, July 2 per his Core 6 Athletes club's twitter. The 6-3, 225-pounder has visited Michigan, Florida, Michigan State and Notre Dame recently.

Boykin visited MSU last, but many believe he's Notre Dame bound. The big-bodied receiver is Rivals.com's No. 10 receiver and No. 116 class of 2015 prospect nationally.

"They haven't really sped up the process," Boykin said of the Irish coaches after his last visit to the school. "They've just kinda let me know what's going on. They keep telling me I'm their guy and if somebody else tries to (commit) before I'm ready they're gonna let me know and give me a little bit of time before I make my decision."

Michigan is considered a longer shot to land him at this point.
