Parents Of Top Michigan Recruits Give Victors Weekend High Marks
Michigan hosted a number of top recruits and their families for Victors Weekend, the biggest recruiting event of the summer, last week.
The Wolverines rolled out the red carpet and made a strong impression on several parents in attendance thanks to a variety of academic and athletic presentations that truly covered the entire Michigan experience.
“It was a great weekend,” said Shirley Morris, mother of Rivals100 wide receiver commit Tyler Morris. “We really enjoyed getting to know the whole staff better and meeting the parents of commits and recruits. It was all top notch with a focus on relationships, understanding the football program and the education system and expectations. We’ve been there several times, but this time was different since we knew this would be Tyler’s home in six months.”
Perhaps no parent is more familiar with the Michigan experience than Deon Johnson, an ex-Wolverine and father of five-star cornerback commit Will Johnson.
And Deon made it clear that U-M knocked it out of the park last weekend.
