Photo Feature: Michigan Defeats Wisconsin, 14-7

The game between No. 4 Michigan and No. 8 Wisconsin played out how many thought it would. It was a defensive battle with points coming at a premium. The Wolverines had home-field advantage working for them and squeaked out a 14-7 win. Here's how the game looked in picture form:

Michigan struck first on a one-yard plunge by fullback Khalid Hill, but Wisconsin tied it up with a nice pass from Alex Hornibrook to Dare Ogunbowale (above).

Senior De'Veon Smith led Michigan with 68 yards rushing, but redshirt junior Ty Isaac (above) averaged six yards per carry and piled up 44 yards on the ground in the second half.
The running game was just good enough for redshirt sophomore Wilton Speight to use the play action …
… and find fifth-year senior wide receiver Amara Darboh on a 46-yard, game-winning touchdown midway through the fourth quarter.
Michigan's offense could only put up 14 points, but it was enough because of the stout defense that gave up just 159 yards to Wisconsin on the day.
Senior cornerback Channing Stribling had two interceptions on the day …
… and fellow senior cornerback Jourdan Lewis sealed the game with one of the most amazing, diving, one-handed interceptions you'll ever see.
