Washington St. John's College High three-star pro-style quarterback Kevin Doyle doesn't hold a Michigan offer at this time but that didn't keep him from stopping by campus last week and getting a feel for the program. Even though the 6-3, 190-pounder doesn't have an offer from U-M he felt the love during his visit and feels like he's on Jim Harbaugh's radar.

"They were very interested in me, especially Coach Harbaugh," Doyle said. "We went to the stadium, had a meeting with both Coach [Pep] Hamiliton and Coach Harbaugh. It was all very positive stuff. They want me to come back this spring and go to a practice but also have them come out to see me and throw at my high school."

The time Doyle spent with Harbaugh and Hamilton made a huge impact on him. He wished it could've lasted even longer than it did.

"It was incredible," he said. "Speaking to arguably one of the most powerful college football coaches in the country was a surreal moment and a good time too. He is a great coach obviously, but Coach Harbaugh was also a very easy man to speak to. As a recruit, he is definitely one of the coaches that you would want to play for. The fact that he played quarterback is also a huge factor.

"Coach Hamiliton definitely had success with quarterbacks and his offense everywhere he has gone. I do not see it slowing down while in Ann Arbor."

Doyle already holds offers from schools like Boston College, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Nebraska and West Virginia among other, but says that an offer from Michigan might be a game changer.

"It would become one of my top offers immediately," Doyle said. "I would really consider them. I am not saying that they would be No. 1, but it would definitely be in the game."

With Michigan kicking the tires and several other schools already well in the mix, Doyle has a lot of thinking, planning and visiting to do in the coming months. He doesn't really have anything concrete nailed down yet but knows he'll be busy.

"I want to go see a few spring practices, maybe a spring game or two, and then see who comes to see me this spring as well," he said. "Depending on how that goes, I would like to be in position to choose a school sometime this summer, but before the season.

"I don't really have any specific schools I'm hoping for an offer from at the moment. I have been in contact with schools like Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Ohio State though."

Doyle doesn't hold an offer from Harbaugh and Hamilton but could be in line for one down the road. He's definitely a player to keep an eye on throughout the spring and into the summer.
