Tyler Morris suffered a torn ACL toward the end of his spring junior season.
While some may view the injury as concerning, the Michigan fanbase should be excited about Morris’ recovery.
After all, the 2022 Rivals100 Michigan wide receiver commit out of La Grange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy is already walking without a brace and is ahead of scheduled in his rehab timeline.
“It’s going well,” Morris said. “I’m a little ahead of schedule as far as being able to walk. I got my brace off a week or two earlier than I was supposed to. Everything is going good so far.”
Morris committed to Michigan in April over offers from Arizona State, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas and others.
Since then, Morris has been pretty quiet on the recruiting trail. So where things stand now?
