Michigan had an up and down season.

While the Wolverines had an impressive win over Notre Dame, knocked off Iowa and won the games they were supposed to win, they also lost to Ohio State, — again — fell to Penn State and failed to beat Alabama in the Citrus Bowl.

Those three losses were prime opportunities for Michigan to impress its top targets on the recruiting trail as guys like Rivals100 running back Donovan Edwards were watching closely.

So did those losses affect Edwards’ view of the Wolverines?
