Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez told TheWolverine.com Thursday night that freshman running back Vincent Smith suffered an ACL injury in the Ohio State game and will miss the spring practice session.

Smith saw significant playing time against the Buckeyes and rushed for 28 yards, averaging 4.0 yards per carry.
Rodriguez also said junior cornerback Donovan Warren would be talking with NFL consultants to decide whether or not to forego his senior season for the NFL draft, though no decision has been made one way or the other. He also said nothing had been determined in the way of potential staff changes.
Other sources, however, indicated Warren was "leaning heavily" toward leaving school for a shot at professional football.
