Stauskas secures more honors

Michigan sophomore guard Nik Stauskas has been honored again, this time making the Wooden Award All-American squad. He joins Creighton's Doug McDermott, Connecticut's Shabazz Napier, Wichita State's Cleanthony Early, Arizona's Nick Johnson, Cincinnati's Sean Kilpatrick, Duke's Jabari Parker, Florida's Casey Prather, Louisville's Russ Smith and Kansas' Andrew Wiggins on the team.

Stauskas has also been named a 2014 Associated Press second-team All-American. The first-teamers are McDermott, Parker, Smith, Napier and Kilpatrick.
Stauskas' extensive list of post-season honors reads as follows:

  • Stauskas helped Michigan to a 28-9 record, an outright Big Ten championship, and the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. He led Michigan, averaging 17.5 points and 3.3 assists per game.
