Swenson first in 2016

Rivals 2016 To Watch member Erik Swenson has committed to Michigan. The 6-5, 285-pound offensive lineman from Downers Grove (Ill.) South High School has visited Michigan several times in the past, including his most recent trip for the Under The Lights II game against Notre Dame in September.
"Yes sir, I committed," he confirmed.

Swenson is likely the top Midwest player in the 2016 class, and picked the Wolverines over offers from Illinois, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and others.
His selection to the 2016 to Watch list means it is extremely likely that, assuming normal development, he will end up a five-star prospect in the 2016 class.
Swenson will return to Ann Arbor this weekend for the Wolverines' rivalry game against Ohio State.
