One of the bigger storylines of Michigan football's offseason is the return of redshirt senior defensive tackle Carlo Kemp. He was retroactively granted an extra year of eligibility due to participating in less than four games as a freshman in 2016.
Kemp notched 40 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks last season. His return is "massive," former U-M All-Big Ten defensive lineman Craig Roh — who is a current CFL player and also does online defensive line film breakdowns of college and pro players — told The Wolverine.
"I really like him a lot," said Roh. "Very explosive guy."

"It’s actually funny. I was doing a post, and typically I tag some of the guys who I’m doing the breakdown on. And, I did a breakdown and Carlo Kemp was in one. He had a great face stunt across a defender and got a TFL. Very explosive guy. But, I couldn’t find any social media for him, and honestly I don’t think he has social media. Any college kid who doesn’t have social media, that’s a very focused person. And so, I was kind of taken aback by that."
