The Wolverine's EJ Holland was in Chicago this weekend for Pylon 7v7, which featured a Michigan commit and handful of targets.

Here are his thoughts from the event.

*** Of course, we’re starting off with four-star 2021 Michigan quarterback commit JJ McCarthy. This was my third time seeing McCarthy live, and he once again impressed. The first thing that stands out about McCarthy is his arm talent. The La Grange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy product has a cannon and threw some darts throughout the tournament. But he has great control as well. His fastballs always seem to be accurate, and he knows when to let up and put touch on his passes. McCarthy’s arm strength allows him to make any throw on the field, and his ball placement is elite as well.
