McGary missed 29 games of his sophomore season, including the final 27 contests, after undergoing back surgery. He declared for the NBA Draft in late April after learning he would be suspended by the NCAA for the entirety of his junior season after testing positive for marijuana during the NCAA Tournament.
In 47 career contests for the Maize and Blue, he averaged 7.8 points and 6.6 rebounds. He is a projected late first-round/early second-round pick.
