Wolverines Host Junior Power Forward

Junior Kris Humphries of Minneapolis (Minn.) Hopkins will take unofficial visits to Michigan and Michigan State this weekend, according to Prep Stars Recruiter's Handbook. A 6-foot-8 power forward, Humphries is ranked No. 7 nationally by FOX Sports, No. 9 by Hoop Scoop, No. 13 by Prep Spotlight, No. 26 by School Sports, and No. 29 by Prep Stars.
Humphries was one of several juniors the Wolverines observed during the fall contact period. He is receiving attention from a huge number of colleges, including Minnesota, Arizona, Texas, Florida, MSU, U-M, Kentucky, North Carolina, Iowa, Louisville, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Clemson, Colorado State, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, UNLV, Stanford, Kansas, Wisconsin, and Purdue.

Michigan currently has two scholarships open for the Class of 2003, and is directing its early focus toward wing and post players.
