Michigan has lost a commitment from the 2017 class, this time in the form of Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian three-star fullback Chase Lasater. The 6-2, 238-pounder took to Twitter to let the world know.

There had been a little bit of a buzz about Lasater potentially being a decommitment candidate but up until today he was still saying things were fine. Lasater noticeably had a lot of Twitter interaction with the staff at Ole Miss a couple of weeks ago but as recently has Sept. 23, Lasater still said everything was good with Michigan.

Upon reaching out to Lasater over the weekend to get his reaction of Michigan's 78-0 win over Rutgers, his response was less than promising.

"I didn't watch the game," Lasater said. "I was on a little vacation in Virginia. Just hanging out up there."

Things may have been trending this way for a while as evidenced by Michigan's increased interest in the nation's top fullback, Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County three-star Tory Carter. The 6-2, 255-pounder is currently committed to LSU but will visit Ann Arbor in an official capacity on Nov. 19 for the Indiana game.
