Good News Coming?

*** Right after Rivals100 linebacker Junior Colson gave Michigan a verbal commitment, I took to social media to hint at some more potential good news coming this week. Coincidentally (wink), three-star Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas linebacker Jaydon Hood put out a tweet soon after saying he would be making his decision on Monday. I’ve stated on numerous occasions that I felt like Hood could pop before the end of the month, so not a surprise here.

*** I was the first reporter across all networks to put in a pick for Hood to land at Michigan. I still feel very confident in that pick. I’ve spoken to sources close to the Michigan program over the last several weeks, and they have also expressed confidence in their chances. Michigan linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary, who has strong Florida ties, has done a terrific job of recruiting Hood, and the two have a really strong bond. As I reported, they had a great virtual meeting last week.
