Brett, a 5-foot-10 guard from Adelaide, Australia, played her first four seasons at Bowling Green State, where she was a consistent contributor from the moment she stepped on campus.

The Australia native played in 30 games as a freshman and averaged 6.3 points in her first collegiate season.

As a sophomore, Brett started 27 of a possible 29 games for the Falcons and nearly doubled her scoring totals, bumping up her per-game average to 12.0. She finished as the team's third-leading scorer as a sophomore, and she led the team in scoring in the postseason.

Brett was, once again, the team's third-leading scorer as a junior as her scoring average dropped to 10.7 points.

Her senior season was a breakout year, though, as Brett led the Falcons in scoring with 14.7 points. She led the Mid-American Conference in field goal attempts and 3-point attempts, and he efforts earned her an appearance on the All-MAC First Team.

She now joins a very guard-heavy Wolverine team that will have a lot of depth in the backcourt for the 2023-24 season. Brett is the second guard to commit to the Wolverines in as many days, with Missouri transfer Lauren Hansen making her pledge to Michigan on Tuesday.

Michigan will feature an experienced backcourt with Brett and Hansen — who are both fifth-year players — and returning junior Laila Phelia, who averaged 16.7 points last year as a sophomore.

Coming off the bench will be juniors Greta Kampschroeder and Jordan Hobbs, along with freshmen Macy Brown and Katy Eidle.
