Friday night, Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis became the fourth Wolverine picked in the 2017 NFL Draft. Lewis was a third round selection by the Dallas Cowboys, and was the 92nd player taken in the draft.

Lewis played in 10 games for the Wolverines as a senior, notching 25 tackles and 11 passes defensed. He also had two interceptions, including his acrobatic grab late in Michigan's win over Wisconsin.

The cornerback finished his career as a Wolverine as the program leader in passes defensed with 45. Lewis was a consensus All-American in 2016 and also earned All-American honors in 2015.

Lewis will join a Dallas team that lost four defensive backs in free agency this year. He also joins fellow Wolverine defender Taco Charlton in Dallas.

Off-field issues may have played a role in where Lewis was in the draft order. Based on his production in college, Pro Football Focus listed Lewis as their No. 24 overall prospect.

Though Lewis may have slipped down the draft, ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay raved about the former Wolverine.

"This guy was the best player on the board 30 picks ago, 40 picks ago," McShay said. "He's the best nickel cornerback in this draft. I understand why he fell, but I don't know that there's a better cornerback in terms of cover instincts and the ability to stay in the hip pocket of a receiver."

Many around the league have a lot of praise for the new Cowboy. Here is some of the reaction to the pick.
