Freshman receiver Tarik Black has had surgery to repair a broken foot sustained against Air Force on Saturday. He's expected to miss several weeks, at least.

“He’s going to be out,” Harbaugh said of Black. “He’s going to need surgery. He’s got a crack in his foot.”

Black started each of the first three games, hauling in 11 catches for 149 yards, including one touchdown. He self-reported via twitter that the surgery "went smooth."
