The Pylon 7v7 season will continue this weekend with a loaded tournament in Dallas.
Several high-profile clubs and recruits will be in attendance for what should be a thrilling event.
Two hometown teams will be the favorites to win this event — True Buzz and Texas Flex.
True Buzz has been a staple on the Pylon 7v7 circuit over the last several years and will showcase plenty of talent especially on the defensive side of the ball.
The unit features elite 2023 linebacker Anthony Hill, who has offers from Florida, Georgia, Michigan and others, rising 2023 cornerback Jamel Johnson, who has offers from Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan and others, and fellow rising 2023 cornerback Deldrick Madison, who holds offers from Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma State and others.
True Buzz also has some DI prospects on the offensive side of the ball and will be a team others want to avoid throughout the event.
The same could be said about Texas Flex.
While Flex is dividing its two teams evenly, the program is loaded with top talent, including former LSU safety commit Bryan Allen, rising wide receiver Jay Fair, who has offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia and others, Rivals100 wide receiver Evan Stewart, who is considered a Texas lean, and elite 2023 wide receiver Jhontay Cook, who has offers from Auburn, Miami, Texas and others.
Louisiana Elite should be a serious threat to make a run to the championship. The squad from The Boot is highlighted by Rivals100 safety Daylen Everette, who has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and others, and top 2024 cornerback Desmond Ricks, who has offers from Florida State, North Carolina, Tennessee and others.
Fellow Louisiana program EPS Blaze always finds ways to make noise in tournaments and has several intriguing names on its roster, including three-star wide receiver Kody Finley, who has offers from Kansas and Memphis.
Texas Stars will be a team to watch as it houses elite 2023 running back Reuben Owens, who has offers from Georgia, LSU, Texas and others. The same goes for TDG, which is headlined by Oklahoma State running back pledge Ollie Gordon.
Route Demons are new to the circuit, but the East Texas squad has some intriguing talent, including rising 2023 athlete Montrell Wade, who has offers from Georgia Tech, Kansas, Oklahoma State and others.
Texas Ice, Iconic, Fast South, Keller Indians, Bullitt, BTP, Bootleggers North, F3 Elite and Team Takeover make up the remainder of the field.
