For a second straight week, Michigan Wolverines football was able to host recruits for official and unofficial visits, after the NCAA lifted the 15-month dead period June 1.
The Wolverines hosted a number of top recruits, including Grosse Point (Mich.) South five-star cornerback commit Will Johnson. The Michigan coaching staff and recruiting department held tours of the facilities and the U-M campus, film sessions, individual meetings with coaches, photoshoots and more.
Here are some social media sights and sounds from the weekend.

2022 Four-Star CB Target Myles Pollard, Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood
Pollard took a self-guided tour to Michigan back in late March, but was finally able to meet with the staff and see the team facilities first hand during his official visit over the weekend.
2022 Five-Star CB Commit Will Johnson, Grosse Pointe, (Mich.) South
A Michigan pledge who was just in Ann Arbor for 'Detroit Day' June 2, Johnson made it to campus once again and got to spend time with the aforementioned Pollard.
Johnson has social media buzzing with his pictures in the road white uniform with blue pants.
2022 QB Target Nate Johnson, Clovis (Calif.) High
A dual-threat quarterback who is improving as a passer, Johnson just showed out at the Elite 11 Regionals in Los Angeles last week and earned himself an invite to the Elite 11 Finals. Led by quarterbacks coach Matt Weiss, Michigan has been pursuing him hard, and was able to get him on campus for an official visit over the weekend.
Johnson took in The Big House and even got a chance to walk through some plays on the turf, envisioning what it would be like to play in front of over 110,000 fans decked out in Maize and Blue.
2022 OL Target George Fitzpatrick, Greenwood Village (Colo.) Cherry Creek
Fitzpatrick took a self-guided trip to Ann Arbor this offseason, but finally got a chance to meet face to face with offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore and graduate assistant Grant Newsome, a former standout Michigan offensive tackle himself.
Of course, the Wolverines already hold a pledge from 2022 three-star Monument (Colo.) Palmer Ridge offensive lineman Connor Jones, who is hoping to help get Fitzpatrick to join the Colorado to Michigan movement sooner rather than later.
2022 LB Target Tyler Banks, Crewe (Va.) Nottoway
Michigan has been recruiting Banks for some time, but this past weekend was the first time he got the chance to meet linebackers coach George Helow and defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald in person.
2022 DE Target Beau Atkinson, Raleigh (N.C.) Leesville Road
A Rivals250 edge defender who would fit well in the Wolverines' new scheme, Atkinson got some face time with defensive analyst Ryan Osborn and the entire Michigan staff.
2023 WR Target Semaj Morgan, West Bloomfield (Mich.) High
An in-state recruit who was previously coached by Michigan safeties coach Ron Bellamy at West Bloomfield High, Morgan has been impressing on the camp circuit this month, including Sunday at U-M's prospect camp. He ā along with several others ā did enough to earn a coveted offer from the Wolverines, who he grew up rooting for.
Several other West Bloomfield products, including 2023 four-star offensive guard Amir Herring, were in attendance at the camp.
