No. 1 kicker, No. 22 Michigan

The Latest: As mentioned above, Nordin committed to Penn State in July in grand fashion, but just six days ago, the No. 1 kicker in the nation decommitted from the Nittany Lions. He is now considering Michigan, Baylor, USC, and technically Penn State.

Along with several unofficial visits, Nordin took an official visit to Ann Arbor Jan. 15, he checked out Baylor the next weekend, and finally USC the weekend after that. Those three schools are jockeying for position but at this point Michigan seems to be out front.

Jim Harbaugh has made Nordin a priority and their interaction has made headlines in the recruiting world. Harbaugh spent the night at Nordin's house after the end of the Dead Period Jan. 14 and the two drove to Ann Arbor together for Nordin's official visit.

Nordin will announce his final decision from his home in Rockford tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
