Michigan football is 6-0 after a 21-point road win over Indiana (3-3) but fell out of the top four in the AP Poll for the first time in four weeks while remaining fourth in the Coaches Poll.

The Wolverines weren't the only team punished for a win in Week 6. Alabama (6-0) fell two spots in the AP Poll from No. 1 to No. 3 after a 24-20 win over Texas A&M (3-3). The Crimson tide were 27-point favorites. Georgia (6-0), a week removed from escaping Missouri (2-4) on the road, is back at No. 1.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, the AP Poll put Ohio State (6-0) over Alabama at No. 2, while Penn State (6-0) stayed at No. 10, and Illinois (5-1) continued its rapid ascension this season, ranked 24th.

No. 11 UCLA (6-0) and No. 16 Mississippi State (5-1) each vaulted seven spots, while No. 20 Utah (4-2) and No. 22 Kentucky (4-2) dropped nine spots.

The table is set for the Wolverines' first ranked matchup of the season against Penn State in Ann Arbor. With the Nittany Lions ranked 10th in both polls, it will be the first top-10 matchup at Michigan Stadium since last year's Ohio State game.
