Breaking Down McBurrows
Michigan scored a commitment from three-star 2021 cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows on Friday.
I caught up with Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Roger Harriott to get his thoughts on McBurrows’ game and more.
On his overall thoughts on McBurrows:
“Ja’Den is an extremely talented player and an even better person. From a football standpoint, he’s a student of the game with elite football acumen and great instincts between the whistle. On defense, he can shutdown an entire side of the field and is also a dynamic returner on special teams. As a person, he’s a brother to his teammates and leads by example.”
On McBurrows’ biggest strengths as a corner:
“The strengths he possesses as a player are love for his team, passion for the game, intelligence, size, athleticism, physicality and speed. His versatility, eye discipline, toughness, and cat like reflexes are some of the attributes that make him an extraordinary cornerback who performs with confidence.”
