Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County four-star outside linebacker Otis Reese is still committed to Michigan, but took to Twitter to announce he will be visiting five schools before Signing Day on Feb. 7 — Central Michigan, Clemson, Georgia, LSU and Michigan.
Reese was one of just three players in Michigan's 19-man class not to sign his letter of intent during December's early signing period (Washington D.C. St. John's College High three-star quarterback Kevin Doyle and Kansas City Park Hill two-star wide receiver Ronnie Bell were the others).
As the No. 42 player nationally, Reese is the highest-rated commit in U-M's entire class.
The Wolverines have a few aspects working in their favor in their attempts to hold on to him — his former high school teammate, Aubrey Solomon, is currently a freshman defensive tackle at Michigan, and his older brother, Da'Quaun Jamison, is a sophomore defensive back at nearby Central Michigan (which is likely why the Chippewas are receiving one of his visits).
The homestate Georgia Bulldogs (who currently own the No. 1 class in the country) are widely viewed as U-M's main competitor for Reese's services.
The four-star has been committed to Michigan since June 18, 2016.
